RD Pilewall drilling with water and standard DTH
We have completed many RD PILEWALL projects ranging from RD300 up to RD800 and equipped with SSAB (Ruukki) RD PILEWALL interlocks. We offer wide range of drilling systems to complete all RD PILEWALL & COMBIWALL projects. Projects ranging from standard DTH drilling equipment to patented air and water systems for projects with minimal risk to any adjacent utilities or foundations. We are able to offer cost-efficient high performance solution that will reduce your costs, keep your downtime low and keep up the production.
We manufacture our own drilling product that is patented. In addition our latest designs improvements have patents pending status. Our equipment is effective yet cost per pile is lower than any competitive product and therefore we are able offer outstanding and cost-efficient sub-contract work to our valued customer with outstanding proven track record.
Our equipment is designed to install RD Pilewall from platforms
We have designed our equipment so that we can install any corner piles with ease and work from platform-edge with minimum of platform movement. This also means that we can relatively safely drill next to backfill slopes that would otherwise be too dangerous as areas of installation. A lot of the work in Norvik Hamn was changed from normal platform work to dry land. Without this specific capacity work would have become impossible due to the design change. We can even start to drill directly to backfill of large exploded rock, with 27meter RD casing pile, into the backfill that was historically a huge problem for any traditional air drilling system in the market. With any traditional system air will directly escape in the rock and casing is stuck with drill pipe because material is not effectively cleaning up.
Working next to steep slopes is always dangerous and equipment must be designed so that distance is as great as possible from installed wall. Despite demanding conditions walls are straight and in bedrock through in excess of 25 meters of blast rock fill.
We install our wall straight. They do not turn left or right unless we want them too.
Our experience and skilled workforce taking no-nonsense approach to the tasks at hand
We installed 14 meter deep RD400 pile wall at SCA Sundsvall. This RD400 pile wall is completely connected with all installed piles and was final corner-pile installed in the last corner. Please see picture right below. This means complete pile wall is totally straight and corresponds with the start pile. With careful planning and correct product our great people were able to connect this wall that probably was first time in any project anywhere.
